Pura Vida Gardens and Waterfalls is unique in Costa Rica. It is truly a "Visual Masterpiece". The design begins with the natural beauty of this country with its' spectacular flora, fauna, waterfalls and views of the Pacific. To this we have added millions of flowers and thousands of orchids, not only from Costa Rica but from all over the world. The manicured walkways meander along a river or at the crest of a mountain and most are easily accessible to people of all ages and levels of fitness.

It is an easy 5 minute walk to see the tallest waterfall in Costa Rica. The panoramic views of the Pacific coastline are spectacular. Because of the altitude you are able to see miles of coastline, many islands, and the Nicoya peninsula. Due to the many flowering plants, butterflies are abundant in their natural setting. Pura Vida Gardens and Waterfalls is a bird watchers paradise. You can see and feed scarlet macaws and toucans daily. Bird watching clubs have said that they have the best vantage points for bird watching in the country. Pura Vida Gardens and Waterfalls has a restaurant with both local and international favorites. There is also a gift shop that specializes in Costa Rican handicrafts and artworks.

On the way back to Puntarenas pier, we will stop at Tarcoles River`s bridge, where you will be able to enjoy and take pictures to the huge crocodiles living in this river.
