DESCRIPTION:
Known as Costa Rica's Amazon because of its surrounding rain forest, the Tortuguero Canal region is rich with exotic flora and fauna.
Board your covered boat for a leisurely cruise through the jungle canals. Your guide explains the rain forest eco-system and points out sights of interest. Keep an eye out for wildlife including howler monkeys, sloths, toucans, bats, aquatic birds, iguanas and crocodiles as well as exotic flora. At the end of your cruise, board your waiting transportation for the short transfer to Cedar Valley Ranch, where the adventure awaits for you.
Enjoy the marvellous experience of taking the tour that will give you the opportunity of crossing the “jungle” like a monkey in its habitat. You will cross the forest from tree to tree with first class equipment and a double cable system for more security, a system that only we can offer, having and experience that you can use to live your friends and family with the mouth open.
The tour is of 6,500 feet and the longest cable is of approximately 1,500 feet long. It’s enough for us to offer you the moment of more adrenaline you’ve ever had in your life. You may see the Caribbean Ocean, the Banano River, and, of course, the forest. We have had adventurers of ages from 8 to 85 and all have said that this is the best experience of all and that the view is amazing. Don’t leave Costa Rica without having the best 60 minutes of your life.
The Zip Line tour begins with an orientation chat where the rules and regulations for safety and security are explained thoroughly. The orientation chat is very important and it is imperative that all advice is adhered to throughout the tour. After this, we will transfer you to the first platform into the rainforest in a wagon pulled by a tractor Another amazing plus of this fascinating tour.
Bring your friends and family along to enjoy the experience with you, remember it is always better to live the experience than to hear a friend recount the excitement. NOTE: If you have a mix group and some people do not want to experience the canopy / zip line tour, it is not a problem due they can come with you and experience the rain forest nature walk meantime you enjoy the tree tops. The group will travel together all the time; we just split it during the activities.

We offer the possibility to make this tour PRIVATE (Bus & Guide) for an additional fee of 20% of the regular rate and with a minimum of 6 participants. Activities (boats, zip line, wagon, etc,) are operated in a regular basis and depending on supplier’s demand. These activities can not be private. |

Operational Notes
- Complementary soft drinks or bottled water are served during the tour.
Round trip transport between the ship and attractions.- The meeting point is inside the pier. Greenway have a special permission. Our guides are located close to the main gangway, just behind the security stand (scanner).
- Our guides will be at pier with a sign and the name of the tour on it.
- All buses have A/C
- Buses for 44 or 52 passengers have toilet.
- This tour has been designated an adventure and ecological tour.
- Tour is not wheelchair accessible & is not for pax with any walking limitations.
- All tour guides are bi-lingual English – Spanish. For other languages please make the request in advance.
- During this tour, in some places there is no shade, pax should bring sunscream, a hat, sunglases, etc.
- During the rainy season, Sep- Dec, pax should expect some rain. Pax should bring a raincoat.
- Greenway Tours suggests pax to bring mosquito spray for beach and rain forest tours.
- Greenway Tours buses are equipped with First-Aid Kit in case of accidents.
- Pax should wear comfortable shoes.
- Pax should be advised to bring a backpack to store cameras, film, sunscream and any other belongings for easy travel.
- This tour is designed for active people that enjoy exercise and the great outdoors.
